How to Eat Breakfast like an Italian.

Looking out to the pastels of Positano enjoying my simple but luscious breakfast, I felt quintessentially Italian...

Breakfast is Mediterranean: simple, nutritious and so flavorful.  A typical breakfast includes fresh tomatoes, arugula salad, buffalo mozzarella, assorted cheeses, fresh fruit and local meats, a large drizzle of Italian olive oil and salt and pepper. To accompany, a cappuccino, espresso or fresh pressed juice makes the meal perfection. Eating this Italian way is not heavy, processed and I feel energized each morning. It’s much more savory than sweet but fulfilling in every delicious way. 

Try the Italian breakfast way next time you make breakfast and channel your own Amalfi Coast moment.
